Description

Tinghir is situated on the plateau separating the High Atlas from the Anti Atlas Mountains and rises to an altitude of 1 340 metres.

The city opens the way to the gorges of the Todra and its beautiful valley.

The city is characterized by a relaxed atmosphere where traditions and development come together in harmony.

The exceptional panorama that overlooks the ancient Kasbah of Glaoui.
Tinghir, the provincial capital, resonates with the sound of the road works for a road infrastructure worthy of the name as well as for the construction of a bridge spanning the Todra and the pipes of any modern city.

Its population has grown considerably and now counts more than 36,000 inhabitants within the city walls.
